Plate and Palette is a fusion of delicious hearty food, community and creativity and run by the ultimate power couple of an experienced chef and a talented artist! The Plate and Palette mission is to create an environment where community spirit, family, creativity and great food is the norm. With that being said, my job was to create a brand identity that melded all of these amazing values together. Using a warm palette of neutral colours, I created a submark that became the basis for the primary logo, using a paint droplet, a knife and the letter ‘P’. This symbol is repeated throughout the brand system and into the print material for the café (greaseproof paper, loyalty cards, interior signage and menus).
